Dear Sir or Madam, It is with pleasure that I beg to an- nounce the appearance of my Orchestra at Colwyn Bay for the ensuing season. I may state that the repertoire I shall have the pleasure of producing to your notice is replete with the latest and most facinating overtures, classical and dance music, &c., and every endea- vour will be made to produce a most effective and enjoyable performance. As our services are purely voluntary, we shall presume upon your consideration and kind- ness to make a weekly contribution towards the expenses necessarily incidental to our venture, and sincerely trust that when we call each week, that a liberal and hearty response will be given to our appeal, and we shall in return always en. deavour to merit the kindness shown towards us. The services of a good Band being indiepen- sible to ensure the success of any seaside resort may perhaps be mentioned as an additional induce- ment to render the necessary assistance.
