PENPARKE. I TREAT .-Tlie village of Penparke was enfete on Good Friday as usual, turning out to enjoy their annual treat of tea, &c., at the schoolroom. The children numbered close upon a hundred, and there was a similar number of adults. The treat was given this year a by Miss Taylor, Llanbadarn road, who is regular in her kindness and generosity to the sick and poor in the village. Mr D. Owen, in the course of the proceedings, proposed a very hearty vote of thanks to Miss Taylor for her generosity, and wished long life and good health to the donor. Mr David Davies seconded, and Mr J. B. Jenkins also spoke.
