WREXHAM HORSE SALES. LOCAL WINNERS. Measrs Frank Lloyd and Sons concluded their January Sales at Wrexham on Thursday in last week with a grand show of nearly 300 power- ful town mares and geldings, light lurry, parcel van, and young horses. The following are the winners North Wales Challenge Cup for the best mare or gelding in the sale, Mr Ed Jones, Hawar- den; mare or gelding under 16-1, Mr R Jones, Whitehall; light lurry horse over 15-3, Mr A Jones, Trehelig Farm small vanner or parcel carter, Mr Livesley, Ivy House 3 year old gelding, Messrs Jones and Sons, Pool Quay. There was a grand attendance of buyers and a sharp demand, a good clearance being effected.
