DENBIGHSHIRE AND DISTRICT LEAGUE. CHlRK RESERVE v BRY.VIBO UNITED.—A11 inter- esting match between these two rivals was witnessed at Chirk on Saturday. The homesters had the advantage of a strong wind up to the interval and scored one goal. In the second moiety play settled down considerably although the visitors made several strenuous efforts to equalise, but without avail. Just before the termination Chirk displayed excellent dashing qualities and in quick succession added two goals, and the United were defeated by three goals to none. Mr Arthur Thomas, lihosy- medre, was a very capable referee. DIIUIDS' RKSEKVK V MINERA ST MARTS.—The return match between these teams was played on Wynnstay Park on Wednesday evening before a good gate. The visitors arrived halt-an-hour late and commenced operations about 6.30 p.m., kicking with the sun at their backs. The young "Ancients" who were strongly represented forced a corner and immediately got dangerous. From the corner-kick Price shot through his own goal and opened the scor- ing for the homesters after five minutes' play. The homesters combined to press and registered a second goal through Edwards 20 minutes' from the start. At the interval the Druids led by two goals to nil. Resuming, the home forwards rushed the ball up into their opponents' territory, and Jack Harris, amidst much applause, registered the third goal for the Ancients. Harris was again prominent and succeeded 10 minutes' later in finding the net again with a shot from long range. W Phillips registered No 5 for the homesters, and Harris put in the sixth. A few minutes previous to the call of time the visitors broke away and scored a splendid goal. Tom Ellis registered the seventh goal for the Druids with a brilliant shot, and a good game ended in favour of the Reserve by seven goals to one. ST MARTIN'S CUP. The final tie between Adwy United and St Martin's was played on Wrexham Racecourse on Monday evening, when Adwy won by five goals to none. At the conclusion of the match the President of the Welsh Association, Mr Edisbury, presented the Cup to the captain of the winning team.
