The business relating to the Acts made and passed I regarding the police, and the business relating to the assessment application or management of the County Stock or Rate, will commence on Thursday aforesaid, at Twelve o'clock at noon, at which hour all bills and demands against the County are to be laid before the court. The Grand and Petty J urors, and all persons bound by recognizance to prosecute and give evidence, or to surrender in discharge of their bail, are to appear at the County Hall aforesaid, on Thursday aforesaid, at Ten o'clock in the forenoon. I, JOSEPH PEERS, Clerk of the Peace for the County of Denbigh, Hereby Give Notice that at the last Quarter Sessions of the Peace, held at Ruthin, in and foi the said County, on Thursday, the Second day of January, 1879, a. provisional order was made in the following words :— Whereas, five Justices acting in and for the County of Denbigh (two of whom are resident in the District), having by writing under their hands required the Clerk of Peace for the County of Denbigh to send with the Notices required by law to be given of the holding of General or Quarter Sessions a Notice in the form marked A in the Schedule of the 25th and 2Hth Victoria, chapter 61, section or as near thereto as circumstances admit, that at the court therein men- tioned a proposal would be made to the Justices to con- stitute the following parishes intoanewllighway District: namely, Eirias, Llandrillo-yn-Khos, Llanelian, andLlan- santffraid-glan-Conway, by transferring the said Parish of Llanelian from the Abergele H igh way District, and the Parishes of Eirias, Llandriilo-yn-Rbos, and L ansant- tfraid-gla \-Conway from the Llanrwst Highway Dis- trict to the proposed new Highway District, and having by the writing aforesaid required the said Clerk of the Peace to send by post, in prepaid letters, Notices in the I aforesaid form to the Churchwardens or Overseers of every Parish mentioned in the writing aforesaid. Any Horse, which, before the day of the race, may have been ridden over any of the Farms on which the Steeplechase is held, will be liable to be disqualified. In all plates at this meeting any number of horses the property (jf the same owner may run. In all selling races the winner will be taken possession of by the auctioneer immecfiately its rider has weighed in, and he will not deliver up the same until he is satisfied of the responsibility of the purchaser. All disputes relative to the races will be settled by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and such de- cision to be final. Before any objection can be entertained the parties making the objection must deposit in the hands of the Clerk of the C urse, and should the Stewards con- sider such objection to be frivolous, the 5sov. will be forfeited. If at the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the meeting, no objection has been made to a winning horse, the Cle'.k of the Course will pay such moneys as he has received on account of the race to the person, or his agent, in whose name the horse ran, or to the person, or his agent who entered the horse, and he will not be responsible or liable in any way for the stakes should the horse be disqualified through an objection lodged after that period. j Colours of the riders, horses, weights, and ages, to be declared at the time of entry and any horse being ridden in colours contrary to those on the Card, will be fined £ 1 to go to the fund.
