The First Prize (£8) of the Denbighshire and Flint- shire Agricultural Society for the best crop of Swedes on farms of 150 acres and upwards, was gained by Mr Thomas Roberts, Berse, Wrexham, with a crop of Dickson's Defiance Sieede, grown from seed supplied by us. The weight of .the crop was 36 tons 15 cwt. 2 qrs. 24 lbs. per statute acre. This crop also gained Francis and Arthur Dickson and Sons' Prize for the best five acres of Dickson's Dqfianct Swede, Also 2nd Prize for Turnips, and 2nd Prize for Mangolds, given by Mr Strachan."
