GRIFFITH, next month, will enter upon his 80th year, and it has been thought by some of his Friends that it will be a fitting occasion to PRESENT HIS PORTRAIT, to be placed in the Board Room of the Wrexham Infirmary and Dis- pensary, to which institution he has been such a valuable Friend and Contributor from its commencement, extend- ing over a period of 42 years. A preliminary meeting was held at the Wrexham Savings Bank, on the 24th inst, the Mayor of Wrexham (Robert Lloyd, Esq.,) in the Chair, when a Committee was formed to carry out the above suggestion.
