FISHING IN CRAFNANT LAKE. (To the Editor of the "Pioneer.") Sir,—In your issue of the 3rd inst. I read a letter written by "Angler" with regard to the improvement- of Crafnant La-ke by some of the inhabitants of Trefriw and Llanrwst, who It--of that a handsome revwiuo might result in time frvm tbo sport obtained there, if the lake waa properly handled. He condemns the planting: of weeds and bushes along tho sides of the Jake, but no doubt if he understood his subject lIe would realise that both aro essential to the well- being: of the fish. I quite agree with him that increasing the prica of the season tickets to thp amount first proposed would be very hard upon those who now enjoy tho fishing there, and especially our poorer brethren of the "gentle art."
