New Vicar of Oswestry. Archdeacon Wynne Jones Accepts the Living. THE Ven. Llewelyn Wynne Jones, vicar of Llan- gollen, Archdeacon of Wrexham and Canon of SL Asaph, has decided to accept the living of Oswes try, in the gift of Lord Powis, rendered vacant six- months ago by the death of the Rev Norman Ogilvie. Considerable difficulty has been experi- enced in securing a candidate prepared to accept the position, the living being relatively a poor one, and the charges upon it considerable. The removal of Archdeacon Wynne Jones from Llangollen will be much regretted in that locality. In 1897 he was appointed Archdeacon of Wrexham, witn the canonry of St. Asaph, and he came to Llangollen upon resigning the vicarage of St. Mark's, Wrex- ham, For many years he was in charge of the British Mission in Algiers. He practised as a barrister before taking orders.
