Tyiorstown. An interesting lecture was delivered at Libanus (C.M.) Chapel on Wednesday last by the Rev. J. J. Williams, Pentre, -the chaired bard of this year's National Eis- teddfod. Mr. Williams took for his sub- ject, "Y Crwydryn Cymreig," which is impersonated in Iolo Morganwg. His witticism was infectious, and created roars of laughter. During the evening, solos were rendered by Miss Winifred Lewis, Senghenydd. The chair was occupied by Dir. T. H. Morris, C.C. The recent landslip is still alive in the minds of Tylorstown folk, and a wish is expressed that something should be done to. hide it from the public view. A sug- gestion is made that a hall should be bunt near the spot, which would have the dual effect of concealing an eyesore and also fulfil a, long-felt-want. The sug- gestion is worth considering.
