llanbadahn FAWR. SCHOOL BOARD. -A meeting of the Board was held on Wednesday evening when there were pre- sent Messrs H. E. Bonsall. M. D. Williams, and Miss E. Davies, and Mr H. G. Atwood, clerk.—The Board passed a vote of condolence with Mrs Clarke, Trevor-road, in the death of her husband. A letter was read from Mr Samuel Evans, clerk to the Aber- ystwyth Intermediate School, announcing the suc- cess of two pupils from the school, Mr Hubert E. Jones and Miss Margaret J. Keane, in the scholar- ship examination. The scholarships, which are of the value of L5 each, are tenable for one year.
