Fishermen return year after year, some choosing to sport with the bass from the rocks at Birth Point, others try their skill with the Dovey salmon, while others less ambitious are content to gain the courteous permission of Sir Pryse-Pryse, Bart., and fish the modest Lerry for trout. THE BATHING.—One of Borth's greatest attractions is its safe and pleasaut bathing. Many families prefer using their own little tents, but machines can be hired. CLIMATE. The late Dr Thring, headmaster of Uppingham School, wrote:—" I lived at Borth a whole year with my School from March, 1876, and have visited it summer after summer with my family since. I consider the climate of Borth the best I have ever known, fresh in summer and mild in winter, Without being relaxing, and the place in all respects delightful to lovers of sea and country."
