LLAiNCYiNTFELIN. 'ol (-\ SCHOOL BOAR[).-Elie iii,dt meeting of this Board after the triennial election was held at the School- room, Taliesin, on Friday, August 26th, when the five members were present. Captain David Wil- liams, -is chairman of the old Board, claimed the right of being chairman pro tern. The business of the meeting was the election of chairman and vice- chairman.—Mr Richard Jenkins proposed that Captain David Williams be elected chairman for the next three years.—Mr Williams seconded him- self.—Mr Hugh R. Jones proposed as an amend- ment that Mr Thomas Jenkin Thomas be elected chairina,i. -This was seconded by Mr William Ed- wards, and on being put to the vote was carried by three votes to two. Mr Thomas was therefore elected. When the question of electing vice-chair- man was put up. Captain David Williams proposed that Mr Richard Jenkins he elected.—This was seconded by Mr Jenkins.—Mr T. 1. Thomas pro- posed as an amendment that Mr Hugh R. Jones be vice-chairman.—Mr William Edwards seconded the amendment which was carried by three votes to two and Mr Jones was elected. The date of the next ordinary meeting was also fixed and the number to form a quorum decided.
