THE Managers of the above School District offer Scholarships and Bursaries to Boys and Girls from Elementary Schools, and resident in the Parishes of Vaynor, Penderyn and Ystradfellte. tenable for One Year from September, 1910. at the Aberdare or Brynmawr Intermediate Schools. The Scholarships will consist of total remission of tuition fees, and will be awarded on the result of an examination to be held at the Council Schools, Cefn-Coed, at 9.45 a-m. on FRIDAY, the 24th June, 1910. The Scholarships are applicable to Boys and Girls who have not attained the age of 13 years on the 30th June, 1910. The Scholarships are also applicable to those pupils who entered their names for the 1909 examination, and who will be over the age of 13. but under the age of 14 on the 30th June, 1910, but these candidates will be admitted to the examination on the distinct understanding that in the event of their qualifying for a Scholarship, such Scholarship will only be awarded subject to the approval of the Breconshire Education Com- mittee. The train fares of the successful Candidates will be paid by the Managers. The Managers will be prepared, if necessary, to augment the Scholarships. Forms of application to be allowed to sit at the Examination may be obtained from the under- signed, and must be sent in with Registrar's Certi- ficate of Birth on or before THURSDAY, the 2nd of June, 1910. The Bursaries will be awarded by the Managers to those applicants who, in their opinion, shall, from their pecuniary circumstances, be most in need of them, and not on the result of an exami- nation. Forms of application may be obtained from the undersigned. The amount to be given to each Bursary holder will be fixed after considering all the circumstances of each individual case. A scholarship will not be awarded to anyrandidate whose work does not reach a sufficiently high standard. (1) The said Trustees intend applying to His Majesty's Secretary of State for his License to remove or cause to be removed the remains of all deceased persons interred in that part of the Burial Ground belonging to the said Chapel upon which the Trustees intend to erect a Schoolroom and which is more particularly described in a plan thereof deposited with us at our Offices situate at Nos. 51, 52 and 53 High-street in the town and County Borough of Merthyr TydfiL (2) At any time within two months from the first publication of this Notice any person who is an heir Executor Administrator or relative of any deceased person whose remains are interred in that part of the said Burial Ground may give notice in writing to the said Trustees or to us the under- signed on their behalf of his intention to undertake the removal of such remains and thereupon he shall be at liberty to cause such remains to be removed to and re-interred in any Burial Ground or Cemetery in which burials may legally take plaoethe expense of such removal and re-interment (not exoeeduig in respect of remains removed from any one grave the sum of 110) shall be defrayed by the said Trustees such sum to be apportioned (if necessary) equally according to the number of remains in the grave. (3J If within the aforesaid period of two months any person giving such notice as aforesaid shall fail to satisfy the said Trustees that he is such heir executor administrator or relative as he claims to be or if no such notice as aforesaid shall have been given to the Trustees or to us the under! signed on their behalf in respect of the remains in any grave or if after such notice bas been given the persons giving the same shall fail to comply with the requirements of this notice the said Trustees may remove the remains of the deceased person and canse them to be interred in such other part of the said Bnrial Ground or in such other Burial Ground or Cemetery in which burials may legally take place as the Trustees may think suit- able for the purpose. (4) All monuments and tombstones relating to the remains of any deceased person removed in pursuance of this notice shall at the expense of the said Trustees be removed and re-erected at the place of re-interment of such remains or at such other place within the County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil as the Registrar of the Merthyr Tydfll County Court may direct on the application of such Heir Executor Administrator or relative as aforesaid or failing such application on the appli- cation of the Trustees. (5) A statement sufficiently describing by the name and date appearing thereon the tombstones and monuments standing or being in the ground and such other particulars as may be necessary shall during such period of two months as afore- said be deposited Dy the Trustees at our Offices situate as aforesaid and such statement will be open to inspection by all persons.
