IN consequence of the numerous ramours now being circulated by interested opponents of this Society, the Members are hereby informed that the whole of th« business of tne Swansea Royal has been amalgamated with the London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow Assurance Co., Who have undertaken by an Agreement executed this day (March 9th, 1886) to pty to all Members (Life and Endowment) their full and just claims as they become due. This Amalgamation was entered into after mature consideration and consultation with many of the District Managers of this Society—not in consequence of inability to pay claims—but from the contioned attacks and false statements mad. in various Newspapers as to the solvency of the Swansea Royal.
