The War Office have just issued the following War Office announcement: That 135 were killed and 244 wounded at Ladysmith on Saturday. DIED OF FEVER. The War Office announce that Gunner H Cory, 53rd Battery Royal Field Artillery, died yesterday at the Base Hospital of enteric fever. WOUNDED PRISONERS VT PRETORIA. The General of Communications, Natal, telegraphs to the Secretary of State for War the information furnished by the Identity Department Red Cross Society, Pretoria, that 29 non-commissioned officers and privates are wounded prisoners in the Pretoria hospital on the racecourse.
