DYFFRYN. On Wednesday, the ICth inst., the marriage of the Rev George Owen, Bodelwyddan Marble Church, to Miss Mary Margaret Jones, niece of the late rector of Dyffryn, took place at Brymbo Parish Church. It was solemnised by her brother, the Rev J Evan Jones, vicar, who was to have been assisted by the Rev R Owen, rector of Llanfor, Bala, brother of the bridegroom, and the Rev James Jones, St Bride, Cardiff, both of whom were prevented through indisposition. The bride was dressed in a bluish grey travelling costume and was attended by Miss Jones, Llanbedr Rectory (cousin), as bridesmaid. The bride was given away by her father, Mr Jones, Aretas, Llanrhystyd, Aberystwyth. The bride was presented by the bridegroom with a gold bangle. The breakfast was given at Brymbo Vicarage, when a large number of guests were present, including Mr and Mrs Bowen, Towyn. The happy couple left in the evening for Mold. A long list of presents were received.
