Roose fisted the ball out and a corner fol- lowed. The visitors beat in around the home goal with unabated vigour, but they were checked by the backs, all of whom were playing for all they were worth. Play had being going on for just forty minutes and Glossop appeared as far off as ever from scoring. Another foul in front of the home goal was given and the backs cleared. It was now on the nick of full time, and the game ended with the score one to none in favour of Aberystwyth. +
