THE LOSS OF AN ABERYSTWYTH VESSEL. The Board of Trade inquiry into the loss of the steamer Glanwern, of Aberystwyth, was continued at α- I Swansea Towu-hall on Friday week. before Mr J. C. Fowler (stipendiary). The witnesses called were John Richards, boatswain, John R. Jones, A.B., Dd. Jenkins, A.B and Mr Francis, of Aberystwyth, part owner. Questions were afterwards put to tke court as to the general navigation of the vessel, and more particularly as to whether the captain was justified in leaving the bridge to consult his chart before taking the vessel out of danger. The court adjourned, and the replies were given on Saturday, when the court found against the captain, and his certificate was suspended for nine calendar months.
