On the 17th inst., the wife of Mordecai Jones, Esq., Watton, Brecon, of a son. On the 20th inst., the wife of David William Jones Thomas, Esq., solicitor, Watton, Brecon, of a daughter. On Tuesday last Mr. Moens for the first time

made his appearance on the Stock Exchange since his escape, and was received with a demonstration of welcome, which put a stop to all business for some tune. An eye witness of the scene says that the cheers which greeted Mr. Moens were such as can only be heard on the Stock Exchange on ex- traordinary occasions. The grand jury at the Old Bailey, have thrown out the bill against Mr. Sprague, the Ashburton surgeon, and he has been set at liberty. t
