TO THE ELECTORS OF THE COUNTY OF BRECON. ^BNTLEMEN, »:l in a few days the present Parliament will j*? dissolved, and from the kind support you have hitherto afforded me, I venture once more to solicit suffrages, and to seek the high honor of repre- Seftting you in the next Parliament. During the last six years I have given a steady and independent support to Conservative principles, and shall continue to do so, being of opinion that the Nation is prosperous and the people con- ,ij ^nted, it would be unwise to try any organic or Evolutionary change in the Constitution—at the anle time any measure conducive to the well-being Of the people, by whatever Government proposed, receive my support. It will always be my Pleasure to support any measure beneficial to the Agricultural Interests, and in any future remission °t Taxation, to claim for the Farmers that justice ^hich has hitherto been denied them, by the re- ^ntion of the Malt tax. J I shall always vote against the Ballot. I hope before long to solicit your votes in person, to explain more'.fully than is possible, in an ad- ^ress, the sentiments that will guide my future eon- j! 'act should you dojjme the honor to elect -me^once 40re your representative. ) I have the honor to be, Gentlemen, } Your obedient Servant, GODFREY C. MORGAM. t' 39, Portman Square, j ^une 28th, 1865.
