VOLUNTEER MARKER SHOT AT KNUTSFORD.— Patrick Leech, Market-place, Knutsford, was shot on Saturday afternoon while marking for the shooting of the Volunteers on Knutsford Moor. He was taken to the workhouse hos- pital, where it was found that the bullet had passed through his right leg.
