WINDING UP THE OLD TRAM- WAY COMPANY.—Ordinary share- holders in the Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Electric Traction Company, Limited, have been supplied with copies of a notice duly advertised lin the "London Gazette" on November 24 th, in accordance with section 142 of the Companies Acts, 1862 to 1907, to* the effect that a, general meeting of the Company will be held in Man- chester on the 28th instant for the purpose of having the liquidator's accounts show- ing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the, Company disposed of laid before "-he meeting, of hearing any explanation that may be givn by the liquidator (Mr John Mortis), and also of determining by ex- traordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and docu- memts of the Company shall be, disposed of. This Company was formed to take over the electric tramway scheme, and it rendered a service to the community of Llandudno and Cohvyn Bay by keeping the project alive, but the capital subscribed was not sufficient to complete the railway, and the assets were ultimately acquired by the present Llandudno Tramway Construction j Company.
