Llanrwst Competitive Meeting. Competitive meetings, in connection with Tabernacle, were held at Ebenezer Chapel, on Monday afternoon and evening. The chair in the afternoon was occupied by Mr. D. O. Jones, Aneddle, and in the evening, by Dr. J. W. Owen, Llys Meddyg, and the conductor of both meetings was Mr. R. Maddocks. The adjudicators were:—Music, Mr. T. R. Williams, A.C., Trefriw; recita- tion, Rev. T. ('. Roberts, and Mr. E. Pughe poetry, Rev. D. S. Thomas, Towyn. The accompanist was Mr. A. Morley Jones. Ihe treasurer was Mr W. Lloyd Jones, Liverpool House, and the secretary being Mr. S. T. Roberts, Carrington Ter- race. During both meetings, Mr Maddocks rendered some songs in his usual good style. The following were the winners:—Solo under 10: i, Caridwen Lloyd, Cae'rgraig 2, S. A. Hacker, Watling Street. Pianoforte sojo. Equal, Samuel Tudor Hughes and Hannah M. Hughes.
