WHEREAS by sub-section (1) of Section 9 -vf the Motor Car Act, 1903 (herein-after referred to as the Act "), it is enacted that, within any limits or place referred to in regula- tions made by Us, the Local Government Board, with a view to the safety of the public, on the application, of the local authority of the area in which the limits or place are situate, a person shall not drive a motor car at a speed exceeding ten miles per hour And whereas the County Council of Carnar- von having made application t0' Us to mako a Regulation in pursuance, of the said sub-section putting the above-mentioned provisions of that sub-section'in force within the limits comprising certain roads or parts of roads situate within the Urban District of Bettws-y-Coed, in the County of Carnarvon, We directed a Local In- quiry to be held into the matter by one of OUT Inspectors, and the Inquiry was held accord- ingly, and Report has been made to Us thereon NOW THEREFORE, in pursuance of the powers given to Us in that behalf, We do, by ,this Our Order, make the following Regula- tions ARTICLE I.-Th-e provisions of sub-section (i) of Section 9 of the Act with respect to the driv- ing of a motor car at a speed not exceeding ten miles per hour shall apply and have effect with- in the limits comprising the road and the part of a road within the Urban District of Bettws-v- Coed which are specified in the Schedule hereto.
