Mr. George Bevan presided over a meeting of the National Eisteddfod Executive held at Colwyn Bay last night (Wednesday), when there was a fair attendance, including the General Secretary, Mr. T. R. Roberts, and the Assistant Hon. Secretary, the Rev. William Hughes. THE LIST OF PATRONS. The following were added to the list:—The Duke of Argyll, K.G., the Marquis of Bute, the Earl of Derby, K.G., Earl Cadogan, K.G., the Earl of Pembroke, Lord Glanusk, Lord Kensington, Lord Newborough, Lord Boston, the Bishops of Bangor, St. Asaph, and St. David's, Sir George Newnes, Bart., M.P., Sir H. J. Ellis Nannev, Bart., Sir W. H. Preece, K.C.B., the Hon, H. Lloyd Mostyn, Mr. J. E. Greaves, Mr. Prichard Jones, J.P. THE BARDIC CHAIR. Messrs. Porter and Elcock, architects, Colwvn Bay, it was stated, had offered to supply designs and also detailed particulars of the bardic chair free of charge, and Messrs. David Allen and Sons would also provide the chair free of charge. The Rev. J. Roberts, Llanelian, proposed a hearty vote of thanks to the firms mentioned for their kind offer. Mr. J. M. Porter responded in a short speech to the vote of thanks. THE PROCLAMATION CONCERT. The statement of accounts in relation to the Proclamation festivities on the 7th September were presented, showing the receipts to be £ 155 18s. 5d., and after expenses had been paid there was a balance of £17 16s. iod. This was considered most gratifying. The report of the Musical Committee showed that the net surplus was £ 73 8?. 6d. It was resolved that the warm appreciation of the Committee of the Hon. Secretary's services at the concert and of his arduous and successful work in connection with the Proclamation proceedings be recorded on the minutes. The Chairman in happy terms proposed that they pass a hearty vote of thanks to all who had helped to make the Proclamation events such a success. They had created a remarkable record. No other Eisteddfod had made the Proclamation a financial success. They had a profit of £ 18, and that was, considering the weather, a credit to all concerned. At other Proclamations there had been deficits ranging from £ 8 to £ 158. (Applause.) Abergele Revision Court. This Court was held in the Justices' Room on Wednesday. Mr. Mott, the Conservative agent, objected to David Wil- liams. Valley View, Llanddulas, having a vote on the ground that his wife, and not himself, was the tenant of the house, which is a lodge on the estate of Sir Alfred Jones. David Williams said that when he applied for the situation of lodge-keeper it was plainly stated in the advertisement that a man and wite were wanted. His wife acted as cook to Sir Alfred Jones. The Revising Barrister said the objection could not be sustained, having regard to the terms of the advertisement. Iv Richard Percival Chambers, Dolwar, Abergele, claimed a lodger s vote. He had paid 8s. per week for his rooms during the last five years. The vote was allowed.
