Nantymoel Mining Successes.—Messrs. John R. Williams, 4, Glanafon Terrace, and John P. Edwards, 48, Vale View, have satis- factorily passed their examination for a Second Class Certificate of Competency as Under-Managers of a mine. Both were students of the class at Nantymoel Boys' School, conducted by Mr. W. T. Jones, under-manager of the Wyndham Collieries. --+-- Success.—The many friends of Mr. Willie Jenkins, son of Mr. J. H. Jenkins, Aelybryn, Nantymoel, will be pleaded to learn of his success in the recent Mining Examination conducted by the Home Office.
