Nantymoel- Dehate.-Oll Thursday of last week. at the. Workmen's Hall,a debate, took place between D. O'Brien (Conservative) and Mr. G. Ribbings, B.A. (Socialist), on "Is Socialism Morally Sound?" The meeting was arranged by the Ogmore Valley Conservative Club and the Ogmore Valley Independent Labour Party. Mr. T. C Jones, Pontyrliyl (chairman of the id Bridgend and Cowbridge Hoard of Guar- dians)., presided. Obituary.—The death took place on Wednesday, 24th March, of. i i. old and respected inhabitant in the person of Mrs. Elvan Lloyd, 14# Graig Fryn Terrace. The funeral took place on Saturday last, the body being, interred at- Cefncribbwr Cemetery. Death.—We regret to announce the death of Master George Haines, the four- year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. GeOrge Haines, of 7, John Street. The funeral took place on.
