Pentre. On Sunday anniversary services were held at the Primitive Methodist Chapel, Windsor-street The morning and evening services were con- ducted by Mr Pointing Monks (Fishpond, Bristol), and in the afternoon by Mr Smith Treorky. The services were all fairly weli attended. Collections were made at each service in aid of the new chapel, which it is hoped to be able to commence at an early date, the present building being quite inadequate and inconvenient to meet the requirements of worshippers. Is 7d Tea, Pure and Fragrant. 3261r On Monday the Sunday School members of the Nazareth Welsh Methodist Chapel, Pentre, held their annual treat, when a very enjoyable day was spent at Caerphilly. The worshippers at the Siloh Congregational Chapel, Pentre, journeyed to Jersey Mame to ppend their annual holiday. Beautiful weather prevailed, and a happy day w«s spen On Thursday evening at the Siloh Welsh Con- gregational Chapel, Pentre, a very interesting lecture was delivered by the Kev Jones (the blind preacher), late of Pe' £ hF^e" draeth, but now of Pentre.
