The neighbouring Forests also yield the White and Black Walnut, Acorns, Chestnuts, Hickory an,1 Hazle Nuts, and nutritious roots, Upon wh Ich the Hogs of the Farm fatten in the autumn. The Live Stock commonly raised are Horses, Mules, Nfat Cattle, Sheep, Hogs, and Poultry of every descrip- tion, equal to any in the world. The Plots are of easy access, lying near to main roads and navigable streams communicating with the above Towns, thereby affording the greatest facility for the sale of all marketable produce. Upon the various rivers of this County are situate extensive Manufacturing Mills, Stores, and Salt Works, where the Agriculturist may be supplied with building materials, domestic requisites, and all implements o! husbandry, upon the most moderate terms.
