Union will at their meeting, to be held on the 3rd January next, proceed to the appoint- ments of Rate Collectors for each of the above- mentioned parishes. The salaries attached to the various parishes are as follows Llanrhos. £ 4.2 per annum Llangystenin £ 32 do Penrhyn 13 do (subject to the usual deductions under the Super- annuation Act, 1896). Candidates may apply for one of the parishes or for the whole of them, as he chooses, but application for each parish must be separate, but sent in one envelope marked Rate Collector." Applications in Candidate's own handwriting, stating age and occupation, together with COPIES of three testimonials of recent date (which will not be returned) must be sent to me before 9 a.m. on the above date.
