THE SECRETARY OF STATE for the Home JL Department hereby gives notice that on the 8th November, 1905, a representation was made to him by the Conway Town Council to the effect that Fairs have been annually held at Conway on the 6th February, 26th March, 24th April, 15th May, 20th June, 14th August, 13th September, 21st October, 15th November, and the 23rd Decem- ber, respectively, except when Sunday has fallen on any one of the dates named, when the Fair has been holden on the following Monday, and that it would be for the convenience and advantage of the public that such Fairs should in future be held on the second Friday in each of the said months. On the 12th day of December, 1905, the Secretary of State will take such representation into con- sideration, and any person who may desire to object to the alteration of the dates for the holding of the said Fairs, should intimate his objections to the Secretary of State before that day. THE Town Council of the Borough of Conway invite Tenders for the Tenancy of the Quarry known as Anwell's Quarry at Penmaenbach to- gether with all the machinery except the crusher and steam roller. The applicants to state the dead rent and royalty they are prepared to give (the dead rent merging in the royalty), and the length of the term for which they are prepared to take the quarry. The Town Council reserve the right to purchase all stone required by them (approximately 2500 tons per annum) for metalling, to be delivered at the wharf immediately below and adjoining the main road, at is. per ton free of royalty. Applications for tenancy to be sent in to me on or before. the 18th inst.
