NORTH WALES COAST FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION. -At a meeting of the Association's Council, at Colwyn Bay, on January 8th, Bangor Reserve and Llanrwst were ordered to re-play the Junior semi-final, at Llandudno, on January i8th; and Bangor and Rhyl, the Senior final, at Llandudno, on February 8th. NICHOLSON'S FORTHCOMING VOLUME OF VFRSE.-The Literary TVorld of January ioth, announces:—"A new volume of verse by Mr. John Gambril Nicholson, the authorof 'Love in Earnest,' entitled 'A Chaplet of Southernwood,' is about to be published by Mr. Frank Murray, of Derby." MRS WYNNE OF COED COCH.—In the "Welsh Table Talk" of the Liverpool Daily Post, appears the following: 'Mrs Lloyd Wynne, who is about to marry Lord Middleton's second son, is the younger daughter of Mr Hughes, Kinmel, Flint- shire. Her mother was Lady Florentia Hughes, nde Liddell, a sister of the present Earl of Ravens- worth, and a near relative of Dean Liddell." THE REV J. G. HAWORTH'S FRIENDLY GATHERING.—The friendly gathering of the Rev J. G. and Mrs Haworth, for those aged over 60 years,—and who number about 150,-was held, at the Public Hall, on Thursday, January 9th, when the reverend gentleman and Mrs Haworth were supported by the Revs Canon Hugh Roberts, John Edwards, Thomas Lloyd, John Evans, H. T. Cousins, J. H. Astley, Maurice Roberts (Pen- machno), &c. The bounteous spread wai immensely enjoyed by those present, the caterer being Mr Eaton (Boston House).-After the supper, an entertainment was given, in the same Hall, with the worthy host in the chair, supported on the platofrm by the Revs Maurice Roberts (Penmachno), John Edwards, Thomas Lloyd, and Canon Roberts. The president gave out a hymn, which was expressively sung by those present. The Rev Canon Roberts proposed, and the Rev Thomas Lloyd seconded, a hearty vote of thanks to the Rev and Mrs Haworth for their kindness. The vote having been warmly accorded, the president briefly responded. Messrs R. J. Roberts and R. Ll. Samuel rendered most efficiently the duett Gwys i'r Gid," and the St. Paul's United Choir sang 0 Dduw rho im' dy hedd," Mr R. J. Roberts following with a capital rendering of Gwlad y delyn." Then the Infants of the Board School went through their exercises, which opened with the chorus Merry little boys and girls are we" (accompanied on the pianoforte by Mr J. O. Davies) then, under the instructions of Miss Owen (their teacher), they went through some extraordinary exercises, displaying a large amount of skill and talent bestowed upon them and, when they were marching off the stage, the guests applauded them, and actually brought
