oJ PUBLIC NUISANCES-CARDIFF. TO THE KDITOli OF THE PRIHCIPALITY, Snt, —In perusing Mr. C. Vachell's observations on Mr.Parry's letter in the Principality of the 13th ult., and also our great authority on snnatory matters Jeremiah Box Stockdale, it oc- curred to me that the same charges and objections could be Applied to Mr. William Vachell's proposed court building in He Mary-street, near the English Baptist chapel. He proposes building two new houses in front of the street, and an archway between them leading back to a new court of small hovels to be buik there. Whatever objections can be made to over- crowding the neighbourhood of Love-lane, there must be two t one against building such dens in one of the leading streets or the town. I believe that the attention of the corporation, and o-veii Jeremiah Box Stockdale, should be called to the sub- ject, and also that Mr. Treharne, Coetrvglyn, should be ap- prise J of the project, whose property it is.
