Death of a well-known Penarth i. Carpenter. J We regret to announce the death fiom phthisis of Mr John Veal, formerly of Bideford. agtd 38, which took place on March 12. at 32, Salop Street, Penarth, Mr Veal who has beeu an employee of Mr Tape for the past H years was an excellent mechanic, and was most popular amongat his fellow-carpenters and friends, whe deeply deplore hia untimely demise. The deceased's wife also died from the sams fsll disease—consumption—two years ago, and thsrs are now left four orphan children who will, happily, be adopted by their parents' relatives. The funeral takes place on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
