Poaching at Llandougk At Penarth Police-court on Monday Jonah Davidj gamekeeper in the employ of the Marquis of Bute* summoned two men named Williams and Robert Thomas with poaching on the 11th January. Mr Corbetr, solicitor, who appeared for ihe prose' cution, stated that Robert Williams was the son of Mr Williams, Llandough Farm, one of the oldest tenants of the estate, and it was with great rearet that they placed him in his present position. ° The evidence of the gamekeeper was to the effect that the two men were ftrreiing in all enclosed covef with two nets. Williams said he was only passing on his way to his work. C, The Bench considered the case proved, and fined. each defendant 20s including costs. r
