An Aged Lad. ' *

An Aged Lad. At the Peaarth Police-court on Monday Mr Wm. Warner, baker and confectioner, Glebe-street, was charged by H.M. Inspector of Factories for South Wales (Mr Augustus Lewis) with neglecting to hang a certified Copy of the Factories Act in his bakehouse, and also with employing a lad after hours. In the first case defendant pleaded guilty, and was fined 10s, including costy. With regard to the second case a certificate was put in by the prosecution, which, upon examination, showed that the "lad" was born in 1872 and was therefore 23 years of age. The case was dismissed.
