WE, the Urban District Council of Towyn tt in the County of Merioneth (being the Surveyor of Highways for the Parish and Dis- trict of Towyn in the said County) HEREBY GIVE PUBLIC NOTICE, that on the Seventh day of April, 1908, APPLICATION will be made to His Majesty's Justices of the Peace assembled in Quarter Sessions in and for the said County of Merioneth at Bala for an ORDER for stopping up, diverting or turning between the two points hereinafter mentioned of a certain public highway in the parish of Towyn aforesaid leading from the Main Road near Morfa bach, Aberdovey, to Cefncynhafal; namely, from poi:>t A to point B on the plan heieinafter referred to and which are respec- tively situate 156 feet, or thereabouts to the east, and 228 feet or thereabouts to the west of the farmhouse situate and known as Tafol- graig in the parish aforesaid by stopping up entirely that portion of the highway .situate lying and being as aforesaid, and extending for a distance of 432 feet or thereabouts and by substituting for and making in lieu of the said portion of the public highway so proposed to be stopped up, diverted or turned, a good and sufficient public highway leading from point "C" on the said plan in an east-erly direction for a distance of 431 feet or thereabouts to point D on the same plan, and there uniting the said public highway. AND WE HEREBY GIVE FURTHER NOTICE that the Certi- ficate of the Two Justices of the Peace having viewed the said public highway and the portion thereof so proposed to be stopped up, diverted or turned, and the line of the public highway proposed to be made as aforesaid that such proposed new highway will be more commodious to the public than the portion of the highway proposed to be stopped up, diverted or turned TOGETHER with the proof of the due publica- tion of the several notices required by the statute in that case made and provided, and with a plan of the old and proposed new high- way will be lodged with the Clerk of the Peace of the said County on or before the 20th day of February, 1908.
