SYMPATHY WITH ELLIS O'R NANT. The Secretary stated that he had received a letter from Mr. Ellis Pierce (Ellis o'r Nant) regretting, through ill-health, he could not be present at the meeting. Mr. W. O. Williams observed that Mr. Pierce was one of the martyrs of 1868, and he had stood, valiantly on the Liberal side ever since. He proposed a vote of sympathy with the old warrior in his illness.
