The person appointed must possess the qualifications and carry out the duties pre- scribed by the Orders of the Local Govern- ment Board, and be resident in the District. The appointment will be made subject to the approval of the Local Government Board and to deduction under the Poor Law Officers Superannuation Act, 1896.
