Reynolds's Combination Double Light Gas Burner. 0 THE object of this improvement is to produce a pure light by ensuring the perfect combustion of the gas. These objects can only be accomplished by using very finely made Burners but which, as manufactured, are all but useless, from the small amount of light they afford. This, however, is now overcome and entirely obviated by this improvement, which by the peculiar amalgamation of two suiall flames, the illuminating power of the light is immediately frnT with<?ut increasing the amount of gas consumed. The regulating system is applied ts the interior, thereby preventing any superfluous pressure passing into the Burner. It also steadies the flame avoids that hissing noise and flickering so mnch complained of in the ordinary Burner. The great desideratum in this improvement is, to produce as great an amount of light with as small an amount of gas as possible. This can only be accomplished by the principle and construction of the present improvement. In the increase of light the saving alone will be found upwards of 50 per cent. Large consumers of gas will find this Burner most valuable, as they may either increase their light with increasing their gas accounts, or receive the same amount of light with a saving of from 5 to 50 per cent. PRICE Is. 6d. EACH, or 16s. PER DOZEN. ALL BCRXHKS (iUAKANTKBl) FOR 5 YEARS. Reynolds, Gas Stove & Burner Manufacturer No. 4, Devonshire Street, HuhM, Manchester.
