LLANDDAllOG. THE CALVINISTIC METHODIST'S SUNDAY SCHOOL TRIP.—On Friday last the above school had their annual trip, a visit to Ferryside being decided upon this year. The weather being beautifully fine, young and old enjoyed the day thoroughly. The procession started about 8 a.m., being headed by a splendid four-in-hand brake, which conveyed chiefly the children, who were in"care of tho Superintendent of tho school. Then followed some twenty traps well filled, and all reached Ferryside in splendid'style. The apartments and stables of Mr Davies, The Stores, were placed at the disposal of the school. The tables were laid out, and the most excellent things were partaken of with gusto. Great credit is due to Mr and Mrs Davies for the kind way in which they received the scholars and friend v. The remainder of the day was spent in merry-making, especially amongst the young ones. Sweets and biscuits were given in abundance, the most generous in this repect being Mrs Junes, Capel-Evan Mrs Williams, Gilfach and the Superintendent of the school (Mr James Jones, Torcoed). A good many of the young people, with their sweet- hearts went for a trip across the ferry to Llan- stephan. Tea having been partaken of, the homeward journey was started, all reaching home in the best of spirits, having enjoyed themselves to their hearts' content.
