The next business was to appoint a crier of Quarter Sessions, at a salary of JE-5 per annum.—Three applications for the post were received :—Mr William Davies, tho town crier; Mr Daniel Jones, Sawmill- terrace and Mr John James, Mansel Villa. Dr Rowlands proposed, and Mr W. Vincent Howell Thomas seconded, tho election of Mr Daniel Jones.—Mr J. F.
