AN ABERDAHE APPEAL. At Aberdare Police Court on Wednes- day, Daniel Davies, a marine engineer, of Cardiff and Llaudefriog, near New- castle Emlyn, entered into recognisances to prosecute an appeal against a main- tenance order made against him at the,- previous court in favour of Vera Ann Thomas, of Llandefriog, and lately of Mary Street, Aberdare.

TRECYNON MAN'S DEATH. AFTER BEING UNCONSCIOUS FOE TWELVE DAYS. The death occurred at the Aberdare General Hospital on Wednesday of Mr. Joseph Llewelyn, Windsor Street, Tre- cynon. On Nthe 14th inst., deceased was working as an engine-driver at the I- Werfa Dare Colliery, when he was struck by a fly-wheel ancf sustained a fractured skull.
