At the evening service the Rev. j. L. Phillips officiated. XAIAS TREE.—The annual tea and distribution of presents to Highland Place Sunday School scholars were "eld in the schoolroom on Thursday evening. A large number of children sat down to tea, after which the Rev E. T. Evans presided over the meet- ing. Muriel and Vera MeEwen, Aberaman, had made full attendance during 1918, and Stanley Evans. le- ris Jenkins, and Willio 13iiiigli 13ad lnade very good attendances. All me above were presented with special Prizes. Toys from the Xmas Tree were also handed round to all the other children connected with IS"! Sunday School. A juvenile competi- tion followed. BeAt recitation of "Village Blacksmith," Jack Burge. Scripture reading, Frances Watkins. Reading, Miss Mary Evans. Recital of hymn, Edna Davies.
