TEMPORARY FOSTER FATHER AND MOTHER. THE GUARDIANS of the above Union require the temporary services of a man and wife, as Foster Father -and Mother, at the Cottage Home, Llwydcoed, Aberdare, which contains 30 boys. Combined salary £1 per week, both wVih board, lodging, and washing. Candidates must not be under 25 nor more than 40 years of age, and the man must either be a discharged sol- dier or ineligible for the army. The Mother will be required to take charge of the Home, cook the food, arrange the meals, do needlework, and generally undertake the duties of a home of the artisan class. The Foster Father will be required to assist in tfie general management of the boys in the Grouped Homes, drive a Horse and Cart and look after the Horse, and to act generally under the supervision of the Superintendent. ABERCWMBOI HORTICULTURAL HOW. The 2nd annual flower show and sports were held at the Aberaman Park, on Thursday. The president of the society is Mrs. George Hann. The officers of the committee were: Chairman, Mr. W. Williams; vice- chairman, Sergt. J. Robertson; treasurer, Mr. D. Bowen; general secretary, Mr. L. W. Hughes. The judges were Messrs J. Prince, Aber- aman; — Wolfe, Swansea, and T. M. Lloyd, Aberaman. The Aber- aman Original Silver Band were in attendance under the coaductorship of Mr. R. S. Howells..
