Williams, of Ynys- gau, Merthyr. He preached eloquent ser- mons, and at the evening service ad- ministered the Communion. PBNUEL.—On Friday evening last the Rev. Joseph James, pastor of Bethania Baptist Church, continued his series of lectures on The Christ of the Gospel" at the above vestry. Mr. James's dis- course 'on this occasion dwelt exclusively with Christ as The Messiah," and his remarks were closely followed and appre- ciated.
