Cwmaman. R.A.O.B.—On Thursday evening last the members of the Mount Pleasant Lodge of the above Order assembled to- gether to celebrate the anniversary of its formation. It has now been in existence for five years, and during that period it has made rapid progress. The president for the evening was Bro. T. B Pugh, K.O.M., who remarked that he was glad to see the lodge in a sound financial con- dition. The following programme of music was then proceeded with:—Solo, Rocked in the cradle of the deep," Bro. A. Curtis; "Little Hero," Bro. Fred Magor, K.O.M.; Cannot stop," Bro. W. Davies; "The old apple tree," Bro. W. J. Larimore; "There'll come a time some day," Bro. Evan Rees; "When we were boys," Bro. Morgan Abraham; "Rider," Bro. John Jones; "Miller of the Dee," Bio. WTm. Isaac; "Hen ffon fy nain," Bro. Adam Parker; "Com- rades," Bro. W. T. Wood; "Let me like a soldier fall," Bro. John Phillips; "Alice, where art thou?" Bro. William Thomas. Speeches were delivered by the following brethren: W. Isaac, C.P., Archibald Miles, and Wm. Jones. A hearty vote of thanks to the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas, was pro- posed by Bro. F. Magor, and seconded by Bro. John Thomas.
