The new Parish of Llanrhychwyn shall be included in. and form part of he Llanrwst Poor Law Union and Sural District of Geirionydd. 3. The number of Pirish Councillors v be elected for the new Parish or ulmrhychwyTi shall be seven and until \.iM newly elected Pariah I rs .ome into Office at the time fixed for the jrdinary Election of Parish Councillors :n the veer 1907. the Parish Council for .he existing Parish of Llanrhychwyn ..lBll be deemed to have been elected Mid, shall act as the Parish Council for :he said new Parish of Llanrhychwyn. 4. Any person at the date of opern- icn of this Order holding the office of Plural District Councillor for either of vh»? existing Parishes shall continue in office, and shall be deemed to represent The new Parish on the Rural District Council of Geirionydd and on the Board of Guardians of the Llanrwst Union as if he bad been originally elected to re- present the new Parish. 5. Subject to the provisions of sec- tion 60 of the Local Government Act. 1394. at every Election, except in the case of a casual vacancy or vacancies, after the date of the operation "f this Order one Rural District Coi ncillor shall bfl elected for the said new Parish üf Llanrhychwvn. 6. Until new Valuation Lists ire in ;orc-.e. the Valuation Lists of the exist- ing Parishes shall together be <eemed to be the Valuation List of tbn new Pariah. 7. Until a Basis or Standard for Coanty Rates shall have been fxed for the new Parish, the aggregate of existing Basis or Standard for County- Rates for the existing Parishes sball be deemed to be the basis or standard for County Rates for the new Parish. 8. The persons appointed as Over- seers for the Parish of Tr< wydyr shail cease to hold office ou the' taking effect of this Order, and the Overseers of the existing Parish of Llanrhychwyn ahall act aa Overseers ot the new Parish of Llanrhychwyn constituted by this Order. 0. For the purposes of the Registers of persons entitled to vote at an Elec- tion of Member3 d Parliament, of the Registers of County and Parochial Elec- tors, and of Jury Lists, the Parishes affected by this Order shall be deemed to continue unaltered until new Regis- ters and Lists come into .operation. Provided that for the purposes of any Election to fill up casual vacancies under the Local Government Act, 1894, which may occur before the new Regis- ters come into operation, the Regis- ters of the Parochial Electors for the existing Parishes shall, if necessary, together form the Register of Parochial Electors for the n?w Parish. 10. This Order shall come into opera- tion from and after the thirtieth day of September, 1905. except that for the purposes of the preparation of any Con" tnbutzon Ord.r. and for til-) purposes of the preparation and revision of new .Lists and Registers of persons entitled to vote at an Ela tion of Members of parliament c? (1) Every perSOil who has acquired, or who, or or before the date of the operation of ;his Order, acquires or ;3 in the course of acquiring, a settle- ment in either of t ie existing Parishes, or a st-atus of irremovability from the Llanrwst Union b, reason of residence in either of the existing parishes, shall be deemed to havf acquired, to acquire, or to be in the course of acquiring, a settlement in the new Parish, or a Htatu-3 of irremovability from the Llano rwst Union. (2) For the purpose of the sub-divi- sion fl) and for any other purposes con- nected with settlement or removal in relation to caexs affected by this Order, a-ny residence completed, any act or thing done, any status, condition, right, or privilege acquired or created, or in rbe course cf acquisition or creation, V>rior to the -late of the operation of the course dacquigition or creation, fnc.r to the -late of the operation of this Order in either of the existing Parishes, or in the Llanrwst Union, by v reason of residence in either of the reason of residence in either of the existing Parishes, shall have effect as lf, residence had been completed, tlilp act or ihing had been done, the ■'? ft^tus, condition, right, or privilege had b*?4en acquired or created, or had been mjtho cou"se of acquisition or creation. Ai! propertv, debts and liabilities of the existing Parist.es, including all rroperfy held uniler trust for either of those parishes, or the iniiabitants or PUBLIC NOTICES. parishioners thereof, shall become the property, debts, and liabilities of the new Parish, and in caso or property held in trust as aforesaid, shall be held in trust for the new Parish, or for the inhabitants or parishioners thereof, for the same purpooa as heretofore. 15. All arrears of Rates which im- mediately before the date of the opera- tion of this Order were- rcooverabuj in r-'wpect of property in either of the ex- isting Parishes by the Overseers of ths Poor shall be collected and recovered by the Overseers of the new Parish, or by any Officer duly empowered in that behalf, and, subject to the foregoing provisions, as fully and effectually as if the Order had not been made. 16. II at the date of the operation of this Order, any action or proceeding shall bo pending or existing by or again.it the Overseers of the Poor of efher of the existing Parishes in relation I to their Parish, the same shall not be in anywise prejudicially affected by rea- son &f the making of the Order, but may be continued prosecuted, or en- forced by or against the Overseers of the Poor of the new Parish. 17. Any person holding the Office of Collector of Poor Rates, or of Assistant Overseer for any area affected by this It Order shall continue to hold and exe- cute the like office within the same area as heretofore. The remuneration to which he is entitled in respect of any such office as aforesaid shall be charged to the new Parish, and. subject thereto, ht* shall continue to hold office as afore- said upon the same terms as to re- muneration, tenure of office, and other- wise, and subject to the same regula- tions, liabilities and provisions as now .'¡'ply to him in respect of the said office. 18. The Accounts of the Parish Coun- cils of each of the existing Parishes and of the Officers of such Parishes shall be made up to the day upon which the Order com^s into operation, and shall be audited by the District Auditor in the like mariner and with like incidents and consequences as if the Order had not been made and the enactments relating to the accounts of sucl, officers and to th" audit of suc-h ac- counts. and to all natters incident there- to ecn&eoueutial thereon, and the Rules madt by the Local Government Board thereunder Jiall apply to such Audit, and ;or the purposes of such Audit the said 'Officers shall be <ieemed to remain in ofiee ai if the Order had not been made Provided that such Audit may be held as soon as practicable after the Order Codies into operation, and that any sum certified bv the District Auditor at such Audit lo be due from any person, shall be paid by such person to the Oversetrs of the new Parish of Llan- rhychwyn, and shall be placed by them to the iTedit of the new Parish. 19. Nothing in this Order shall be construed a6 restricting the powers of I the Local Government Board under the Acts relating to the relief of the Poor. 20. Noth ng in this Order shall affect the Ecclesiastical divisions of anv Pnrish, or tball prejudice, varv, or affect any right, interest or jurisdiction in or over any charitable endowment which now is apf lie-able for the benefit of either of tt t existing Parishes. 21. Nothing in this Order shall be deemed to alter or in any way to affect the area oi any Petty Sessional Divi- sion. 22. Any IJyeiaws or Regulations made by the Ruial District Council of Geir- ionydd »or :heir predecessors and in force immediately before the date of the operation of the Order in the exist- ing Pariah of Llanrhychwyn shall on and after t iat date be in force in the new Parish of Llanrhyehwyn until the same are djly repealed, revoked, or varied. 23. All tie powi-is. rights, duties, capacities, liabiLititM and obligations of au Uiban District Council with which the Rural District Council of Geirionydd by virtue of the Orders of the Local Government Board, dated the 30th day of May, 1885, and the 12th day of August, 1896, respec- tively, ar^ invested- in respect of the existu g Parisii of Llnnrhychwvn shad be de±j;ied as from the date of the operation of this Order to vest in and attach to the said Rural District Council in respect of tlie new Parish of Llanrhychwyn as if that Parish had oeen referred to in the said Order of the Local Government Board instead of tn-e said edsting Parish. Every Officer who bv virtue of this Order or of anything done in pur- suance cr in consequence thereof, suffers any direct pecuniary loss by abolition of offioe, or by diminution or loss of Fees or Salary, shall be en- titled to lave compensation paid to him for such pecuniary loss; and in deter- mining such compensation, regard snarl be iad to the conditions and other circumstances required by sub-section 1 ArtlSS i,1^1 G—nZ/t Act. 1883, to be had m regard in case of compensation under that section and the compensation shall not exceed the limit therein mentioned. The County Council shall determine to vrhat Local Authority application shall be made for compensation, and out of what ;ueh compensation, if any, shall I paid bv such Authority, and the pro- visions of subsections (2) to (7) of the said action ahall apply with the su £ ^titution of such Authority for "the alterUaH*eOUnf',• an<1 with s'^h other alterations, if any, as may be required.
