NAIMTLLE tl Nr) DI-STRICT SOAR. LITERARY SOCIETY- On Tuesday night, under the presidency of Mr O. W. Jones, a debate took place on "The- two sisters of Bethanv." Miss M. J. Thomas, Llwyndu, and Miss Kate Jlonps, Treddafydd, took part. SUDDEN DEATH.—Shortly after the one o'clock whistle was sounded at the Ty nyweirglodd Quarry on Vnday, Mr Ro- bert Jones, Pencaemaen, went to his work, I ana when in the act ef picking up his tools, he expired. He was about sixty years of ace, and leaves a wioow and children. Dr Hunter Hughes, coroner for South Carnar- vonshire, held an inquest on the body on Monday. The jury returned a verdict of "Death from be-art disease."
